Family members B.W. Mitchum and Norman Cooper founded BW Mitchum Trucking Company in 1952.
with one truck, one client and the promise to keep personal service first and foremost. Clients in those days knew they could always talk to B.W. or Norman personally. BW Mitchum Company's owners and drivers alike would gladly pitch in and work alongside clients to help their businesses prosper. B.W. and Norman made sure to match the services of their company to their client's unique needs. Their faith taught them to never compromise when it came to maintaining the highest standards of personal integrity and business ethics.

Today BW Mitchum Trucking Company has grown to include a fleet of 60 company-owned tractors.
backed by our own drivers and support staff. We're still family owned and operated, though; you can still talk directly to the boss. Today, he's Norman's son, Ronald B. Cooper. As President and General Manager, Ronnie keeps the same promise and maintains the same traditions started by his dad and uncle back in 1952.

Ronald B. Cooper took the wheel as president of BW Mitchum Trucking in 1978.
